Biography

Jean-Pierre Karsenty is an engineer from the Ecole Navale and joined the Free French Naval Forces to fight alongside England during World War II.

Founder of the firm in 1955, Jean-Pierre developed a privileged relationship with England which continues today, in particular through his links with many British law firms.

He was quick to recognise the importance of European law, which he practised, particularly in competition law, which has made the firm famous.

Jean-Pierre has developed a clientele of Japanese companies which have remained loyal to the firm and a significant activity in wine law, which is still widely practised today.

He was granted a Croix de Guerre 1939-1945, a Croix du Combattant Volontaire and a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
